i got lots more of the lace waistband underwear for christmas, bringing my total pairs to 12. am considering retrofitting my old undies with stretch lace.

we got stuck in an elevator last night, my dumb guy friends thought it would be a good idea to jump with 17 people in the elevator. it was not. the fire department had to come rescue us. even thinking about it now my head swims with panic.
but then we all got out safe and we went to the bar, and all of my friends were there, near and far, from new york and dc and mass and new orleans and i just kept looking around at everyone and it was most excellent. a wonderful christmas, to be sure. |

i am getting my fashion concept together for my upcoming 25th year, um i mean the 4th anniversary of my 21st bday.
rick owens jacket (or reasonable facsimile, such as an all saints jacket who will not let you copy paste the pictures from their site, hmm)
something from rudi gernreich, in particular i want a knit skirt suit
some shirts from kain cos they are modal/silk blend which is now my favorite blend for t-shirts

they're so crappy goth/abner doubleday stylee. point of order: did you know that's the new hip thing amongst scenesters, is to like wear very antique clothes and collect taxidermied animals? they would chuckle at my joke whilst sipping sidecars and sazeracs and stroking their jaunty moustaches.
also i did end up at the thrift store today and i found a really nice paisley 3/4 sleeve 50s dress. i think the 50s are probably the decade i fit into best, all 3/4 sleeves, tight wrists, small waists, and full skirts. i'm no good at 20s clothes, my hips are too big.
OH ALSO i just have to write this down b4 i forget, i came up with a really good idea for a story which i will not share with you, that's how good it is. i'm not good at stories anymore so i'm excited about this one!! when i option it to james cameron you can read it then!! |

i'm off the birth control and i feel really strange. light-headed and feverish. now i am drinking meyer lemon water and i feel a bit better. don't let the lemon apologists try and fool you, they taste just like regular lemons.
i went to j crew to get that top but it is not worth $98 on this or any planet. i don't even think it's worth $50. perhaps $29.99. if something is not made of cashmere it is not worth $100. all i got was a surprise bag from sanrio for my little sis, i want to open it REAL BAD
i went to this job interview and i think it went ok. would you be impressed if someone told you you took japanese "for fun"? maybe i should have said, "to get ahead in today's ever changing market". i emailed him a thank you and he emailed me right back, that has never happened to me before. i mean they ignore your thank yous. bleh all i want for christmas is a new job. and a repaired cv axle. |
